Do to my CRAZY work schedual, I only recently celebrated Christmas with my family. I arrived at my mom's house last week, only to be surprised by a package sitting on the doorstep. My mom said it must be one of my presents - one that had arrived that day. She said she wouldn't bother wrapping it, and I should just tear open the box. So, after an eternity of struggling with the over-duct-taped parcel, I finally got it opened...
And lo and behold, staring up at me was a beautiful new purse.....
With 2 pockets in the front!
I laughed, and asked my mom if she'd read my blog. She looked confused and asked me what a blog was. I just smiled.

Sigh. On an unhappier note (also do to my crazy work schedual - we had 2 people quit over the holidays!) I've had to put my journies with the RCIA on hold. This Sunday will be my 1st day there in almost a month. I really hope they don't kick me out! Even when I couldn't make it to church or to the lessons, I'd always read the selected passages and fill in the blanks in the well...fill in the blank sheets they give out. Luckily, I wont have to miss the "putting of the names in the big book" ceremony - I am very looking forward to that! I've met so many wonderful people there - I just hope they don't think that I got lazy or just didn't care enough to come.
So, I hope this Sunday goes well - I am counting the hours til Sunday morning!
